How room access works
- The host creates a single-use invitation, valid for ten minutes.
- A guest returns an answer code using a trusted channel.
- The host verifies who sent it and explicitly admits the guest.
Messages use AES-256-GCM inside a WebRTC encrypted connection. Aliases are session identities, not verified wallet identities. Never accept a code from someone you cannot verify.
Up to eight guests. The host must stay online. Connection codes and peers can reveal IP addresses; Google’s public STUN service helps connect devices. No TURN relay is used, so some networks cannot connect.
New guests receive the retained history (up to 200 messages). Removal rotates the key for future messages, but cannot erase copies already received. This is not anonymous messaging.
Encrypted archive
Only the latest session is saved automatically. Export it before starting another room. Archive passwords cannot be recovered.
